Those people who think they know everything are a great annoyance to those of us who do.

KEEP ON SMILING
Smiling triggers a cascade of positive effects, both physically and mentally.  Furthermore, smiling is contagious, fostering positive social interactions and making you appear more approachable and likeable.  So what more reason do you need?  Just keep on smiling!
the days are just flying by!  Why, it was only 7 years ago, that we had this great Easter egg hunt at Jim & Robin’s.

A WEEKEND IN GEORGIA
We went for baseball and although we enjoyed seeing the games, we weren’t at all happy with the outcomes.  Sam and his Columbia Lions lost all three games to the Bulldogs.  Mark and Rachel met us at the Atlanta airport.  All three of us were in wheelchairs which we rode to the car rental location.   (Robin had a foot in a boot because of a pickleball accident.) Craig & Donna joined us at our Airnb for a three-day mini-vacation.  And Sam had 5 hits and homered in the three games so that there was something good to cheer for at the ball games
Unfortunately we did not make the trip to San Diego the next weekend when Columbia won 3 of 4 games and Sam hit an inside-the-park home run!
A Day At The Ballgame . . . . 2008
And Sam leads the team in just about every category including batting average, hits, runs, rbi’s, total bases, and home runs.  He has 8 of those.  And he’s among the league leaders as well.  So the highlight so far was the come-from-behind game against Cornell when Columbia tied the game at 9-9 in the ninth and with two outs, Sam hit a grand slam!  Take a look!
After 3 Weeks of Ivy League Play. . .       COLUMBIA IS IN 1ST PLACE
So let’s not jinx Sam or the team.  The season still has a long way to  go but it’s okay to say they both got off to a good start.
